Ocean Freight Forwarding from Dubai
Reliable FCL and LCL sea freight on international trade lanes: planned, booked and coordinated by one team from origin to destination.
OVERVIEW
About our ocean freight service
Ocean freight remains the backbone of international trade, and for most cargo it is the most economical way to move goods between continents. Frequent Shipping arranges sea freight through established carriers and vetted providers, matching each shipment with the right service, routing and schedule for your cargo and timeline.
Whether you fill a container of your own or share space in a consolidated one, our team manages the booking, documentation and coordination, so a shipment that crosses oceans still feels like a single, managed journey.
Typical ocean freight cargo

VALUE / KEY BENEFITS
Why it works
As a Dubai-based freight forwarder we work across established east-west and intra-Gulf trade lanes, coordinating each sailing through trusted carriers while keeping you informed from booking to arrival.
Cost-effective for volume
Sea freight offers the best economics for full containers and heavy or high-volume consignments.
One coordinated journey
Carrier booking, documentation and inland legs are managed together, not handed between vendors.
Flexibility of FCL and LCL
Ship full containers when volume justifies it and consolidate when it doesn't, on the same relationship.

FAQ / COMMON QUESTIONS
Ocean Freight questions, answered
What is the difference between FCL and LCL?
FCL (Full Container Load) means your cargo occupies a dedicated container, which suits higher volumes and cargo that benefits from not being handled alongside other shipments. LCL (Less than Container Load) consolidates cargo from several shippers into one container, so smaller consignments only pay for the space they use.
How long does ocean freight take?
Transit time depends on the lane, carrier schedule, and whether the routing is direct or via transshipment. When we quote a shipment we include the expected schedule for your specific origin and destination rather than a generic estimate.
Can you handle customs for sea freight shipments?
Yes, customs guidance and documentation support are part of the service. We help you prepare the paperwork the shipment needs and coordinate the clearance process at origin and destination.
